Oh my goodness, I am sos sorry to hear this. You will be in my prayers and thoughts. What a terrible thing to experience. Much healing going out to you
Wow, I'm SO sorry! You have my prayers - if I can do anything else, let me know! And don't worry, your kids will survive this - it may even turn out to be a positive growth experience for them (and you and dh, too!)
oh no! a friend of my sister's had that happen and it was rough going for quite a while until the arms healed. i'm so sorry to hear about it! insha'Allah, i hope your recovery is swift and you don't go stir-crazy!
Goodness! you and your family are in my prayers. Heal well and soon inshaAllah. May this be purification for you amin. (I'm slightly curious of what happened?)
I just fell the wrong way. It'll be 8 weeks until i get full usage. In 4 weeks i should be able to do a lot of things but still no lifting, pushing, pulling, etc. The pain is getting better but the kids are the hard part. At least i'm starting to feed myself now and can some things on my own. I can't do anything for the kids and my baby girl has always only let me hold her, take care of her etc. Thanks for the well wishes....
These writings are the footprints of my journey. A convert Muslim hippie chick and free spirit. I love laughter, knitting, quilting, crafting, reading, writing and family life.
Why I call myself wayfarer:
The path of Islam contains a most comprehensive and total system of conduct for the wayfarer. The outer behavior of a true Muslim reflects what is deep in his inner consciousness. As creation is based on unity, Tawhid as it is called in Arabic, every aspect of human experience reflects an aspect of unity. The Muslim is he who has submitted and surrendered in peace and knowledge to this wholesome and naturally balanced ecology... (from the book "Lantern of the Path".

May Allah give you shifaa inshaAllah. My mom broke only one arm and it has been really difficult. Please ask people around you to help!
